GlobalBoost

The economics of BSTY

Open issuance.
Useful currency.

GlobalBoost has operated as a public, mineable blockchain since 2014. BSTY is its native coin: it moves value on-chain, pays transaction fees and rewards the miners who secure the network.

Estimate assumes 10-minute blocks; the real date shifts with mining speed.

Supply & issuance

A supply anyone can inspect.

New BSTY enters circulation as a reward for miners who produce valid blocks. The reward schedule is governed by the network's consensus rules, not by a central operator. Transaction fees accompany rewards and pay miners to include transfers in blocks.

GlobalBoost describes its eventual supply as approximately 30 million BSTY. An older Coinomics article lists 30.08 million; the exact protocol cap should be confirmed against the running chain and source.

01 / Open participation

Yescrypt mining

A memory-hard Proof-of-Work algorithm intended to make mining accessible across a wider range of hardware. Decentralization depends on continued participation from independent miners and pools.

02 / Predictable emission

Protocol-defined rewards

Block rewards release new coins over time according to the rules followed by network nodes, and can be independently checked in the source and block history.

03 / Community origins

Fair-launch philosophy

The project describes its 2014 launch as mining-led, without an ICO, premine or insider allocation.

Network utility

One coin. A public network.

BSTY transfers value directly between addresses. Fees compensate miners and discourage spam. GlobalBoost also envisions BSTY as a payment currency for creator tools, publishing and communication services; availability depends on each application.

01

Transfer

Send and receive BSTY on-chain.

02

Secure

Support miners through block rewards and transaction fees.

03

Connect applications to an open Layer 1 network.
